I was a total hypochondriac.
Every little symptom kept me running to the doctor’s office. Along the way, I seemed to have forgotten about my childhood, where home remedies were common in my household. The aloe plants my father always had growing near the living room window had many uses! I started thinking, “maybe there are others ways that some of these issues can be addressed.” And so, I returned to my roots. I also went to the library (remember those?) and began researching.
As I gained knowledge, I also developed a sense of empowerment. This is the feeling I want to convey to you as well.
Sole Sorcery was created as a result of my continued interest in alternative therapies and holistic health. As an intuitive and an empath, I knew that my purpose was to heal, and I began the journey to find a way to do so. I am a:
As an avid learner, I am a lifelong student of metaphysics and spirituality. I am also a practitioner of African American folk magic, and have been so for over twenty years.
If you're interested in my 'other life,' I have a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's degree in health administration. This prepared me for over two decades of professional experience in the mental health care and social services fields. In addition, as a seasoned trainer, I have presented to hundreds of people across the nation.
